Blowin' from Bolivia
Refreshing news are coming from Bolivia as a gentle wind keeping on blowin' softly all over the world...

Ather the pathetic Copenhague conference and its appalling decisions, Evo Morales invites all men of good-will on the 20th of april in Cochabamba to a real social, democratic and efficient summit against climatic change.
Everyone can support his proposals through a mondial referendum on line :
One more sign of real change blowin' from the Andes :
After Evo Morales was triumphantly re-elected in last december, he appointed his new cabinet last week with an equal representation of both sides, 10 men and 10 women. No president done it before, not even in our "right-thinking" democracies... Thanks Evo.

Christmas time

I need a gigantic pair of shoes to put below the Christmas tree ! Huge enough to hold all I crave for and make my dreams complete : justice, equality, peace, brotherhood, freedom and so much more...
Dear Santa, I'm afraid it'll take a long time to find the right sized pair of shoes. Meanwhile, keep on carrying toys to the children ( the well-behaved and the unruly ones too ), the magic of that moment is so brief and fragile. I remember.

News

Good news from Bolivia ! We received a letter coming from the presidential Palace in La Paz. President Evo Morales thanks us for supporting his action in Bolivia. He wrote he has been deeply touched by our few words. We wish him good luck for the close new presidential elections of december. Last polls announce his large victory, elected in the first round by an overwhelming majority ( near fifty per cent of the votes ) getting ahead of all the candidates of the right-wing opposition.

Dear young friend Qi, that's life... remember the name you give to this picture you took somewhere in the streets ?
We give you our support too for all the clever words you wrote in your e-mails, for all the generous feelings you expressed on your blog. It sounds so absurd such a big country as China tries to stop one of his ordinary citizen from talking freely... Don't do anything that could get you into trouble, that's not worth it. Here is our last comment we left on your blog, could you read it ?
Ni hao Qi
It's been a long time since we spoke, hope everything's allright. The 60 years' anniversary for PRC is now past and the chinese people has to cope with his future. We saw a clip from the ceremony on French television and it looked a bit too "martial" in our european mind... We hope the troubles with your housing in Xian worked out right. Sometimes we feel so small faced to the power of the authorities. It might be the same everywhere : have you heard about Sarkozy's son affair ? You see, democracy doesn't prevent people from that kind of abuse, money goes to money, prominent people to prominent people. Do Chinese administration estimate everybody's skills at its true value neither ? If so, you should already have been appointed to an important place... Here at home, days go by quietly. We try not to worry about work difficulties but it's not so easy. Happily, good things still remain, music, outings, friends and french wine ! Kind regards. Marc & Claudine

Music on stage

Great saturday evening with our friends... We played jazz, blues and many great songs on stage for a friendly association of Angers. Our singer/crooner Françoise enchanted everybody's ears with her warm voice. The show ended with the performance of a rock band with whom we tried to play some standard pieces of music.
